Fundamentals of Yoga Workshop

Learn step-by-step a few variations of sun salutations and how to connect your breath to movement

Nicola grew up in Hong Kong and began her yoga journey here over 10 years ago. What began as another form of physical exercise became a spiritual awakening and a way of life. As Nicola discovered the many aspects of yoga beyond the asana practice, she felt the pull to do her teacher training. In 2011, while living in San Francisco she took her 200hr teacher training at the Laughing Lotus College of Yoga.

Currently, Nicola is taking her 300hr yoga therapy training with Svashta Yoga. She believes there is a yoga for every body. Ultimately we practice yoga to come back into balance, to sustain a peaceful and pleasant state of being, with loving kindness to ourselves, all others and our environment.

Nicola is a certified vinyasa and prenatal teacher, as well as a Women’s Temple facilitator.
