You will learn to teach confidently in front of a room full of people, and also in front of a single camera.
This is not a ‘work by yourself’ training. Instead this is a highly interactive training with live classrooms as well as self-paced components
You don’t need to have an advanced yoga practice to register for this program. You can start right where you are.

Is this a full 200HR Teacher Training?
- Certainly it is, upon completion of the training you will be a certified yoga teacher.
- You can begin to teach at any time, in any environment. You can proceed to have an interview for teaching jobs, share yoga with your friends or at school, or at work, immediately upon completion.
Your 200HR consists of:
Study hours, including reading manual & textbooks
Teaching videos in our learning platform
Live yoga practice sessions
Practice teaching with your fellow students online or a friend / family member in person
Upon completion of the basic course requirements, your 200 hours of study, and demonstrated your teaching skills with a class, you will be a certified yoga teacher! If you’d like, you can register with the Yoga Alliance.
GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
Yes. The course meets the standard 200-hour training requirements accepted by Yoga Alliance.
A consistent personal practice is needed and with the goal to learn more how yoga works.
Yes. The curriculum is designed for students of all levels, including complete beginners who wish to build a strong foundation.
Most students complete it in 8–12 weeks, but you have the flexibility to learn at your own pace.
The program includes on-demand, pre-recorded video modules, downloadable manuals, assignments, quizzes, a final assessment, and 3 hours of private 1-on-1 classes with the lead teacher.
CURRICULUM & TRAINING FORMAT
You submit a teaching video for assessment.
Yes. To ensure comprehension, each module includes short quizzes, reflection prompts, and practical teaching assignments.
Your three private sessions can be scheduled at your convenience. They can be used for Q&A, practice review, teaching feedback, sequencing help, or personal guidance.
You will have access to 3 private video calls or in person at YogaUP with the lead teacher, as well as community discussion boards or messaging channels (if applicable).
Yes. You’ll receive downloadable PDFs, pose breakdowns, sequencing templates, and study guides.
All core modules are delivered through high-quality pre-recorded videos you can watch anytime, on any device.
The curriculum includes Hatha, Vinyasa, foundational alignment, pranayama, meditation, and yoga philosophy. You’ll be able to build your own sequence based on Hatha and Vinyasa style.
CERTIFICATION & TEACHING
Yes. You’ll learn functional anatomy, injury-prevention principles, and alignment modifications for various body types.
Absolutely. You’ll learn to create safe, balanced, and well-structured yoga classes for beginners and mixed-level students.
Yes. Your certificate qualifies you to teach group classes, private sessions, and online classes.
If your school is a Registered Yoga School (RYS), you can use your certificate to apply for RYT-200 status with Yoga Alliance.
Yes. Upon successful completion, you will receive a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certificate authorizing you to teach yoga classes.
PRIVATE SESSIONS WITH THE LEAD TEACHER
Yes, you can schedule your sessions anytime within your student access period.
Yes. You may choose three 1-hour sessions or request shorter splits (e.g., 6 × 30-minute sessions)
After enrollment, you’ll receive a scheduling link to book sessions directly with the lead teacher.
You can use them for practice correction, teaching feedback, pose alignment help, philosophy discussions, or personalized mentoring.
FLEXIBILITY & ACCESS
You have 12 months for the video access. You can finish the rest of the materials within 18 months.
Yes you can watch your videos offline.
Yes. You can start anytime and move through the material at your own speed.
TECHNICAL & SUPPORT
A mat is essential. Blocks and straps.
Dedicated support is available via email or chat.
Any device capable of streaming video and joining video calls will work (phone, tablet, or computer).
PAYMENT & ENROLLMENT
No. All course materials are included. Optional props or books may be recommended.
This program is not refundable, however you can postpone the course for any reasons.
