Program features
You’ll immerse into, and learn to teach, Vinyasa yoga and Hatha yoga
Our yoga teacher training certification uses our Yoga Alliance approved curriculum
You will learn to teach confidently in front of a room full of people, and also in front of a single camera.
This is not a ‘work by yourself’ training. Instead this is a highly interactive training with live classrooms as well as self-paced components
You don’t need to have an advanced yoga practice to register for this program. You can start right where you are.
There are no pre-requisites for this training.
The only time that we work as a group are the LIVE SESSIONS. Please refer to the following breakdown.
- 48 hours LIVE SESSIONS of group meeting (8 weeks, 2 days per week and 3 hours per day). It is strongly recommended that you attend these sessions; however, if you cannot attend any of the sessions, a recording will be available for you to watch at a later time.
- 112 hours of pre-recorded material which can be accessed immediately after registering at your own pace. The access period is six months.
- 30 hours of asana practice at YogaUP can begin at any time after registration. Completion time is six months. The following 10 hours of teaching/training Practicum are to be completed AFTER the LIVE SESSIONS.

Registration Procedure

Is this a full 200HR Teacher Training?
- Certainly it is, upon completion of the training you will be a certified yoga teacher.
- You can begin to teach at any time, in any environment. You can proceed to have an interview for teaching jobs, share yoga with your friends or at school, or at work, immediately upon completion.
Your 200HR consists of:
Study hours, including reading manual & textbooks
Teaching videos in our learning platform
Live yoga practice sessions
Practice teaching with your fellow students online or a friend / family member in person
Upon completion of the basic course requirements, your 200 hours of study, and demonstrated your teaching skills with a class, you will be a certified yoga teacher! If you’d like, you can register with the Yoga Alliance.
